2019 FedEx Cup prize money

There has been an increase to the 2019 FedEx Cup prize money compared to the prize purse that was on offer on the PGA Tour in 2018.

The total purse has been increased by a staggering $25 million and is set at $60 million meaning the winner will now receive $15 million compared to the $10 million that Justin Rose received in 2018.

The runner-up will pocket $5 million while players who make the Tour Championship will receive at least $395,000.

On top of the 2019 FedEx Cup prize money there is an extra bonus pool worth $10 million which is paid out at the end of the regular season.

Sponsored by Wyndham, the bonus pool will reward the top 10 players at the end of the regular PGA Tour season with the leader receiving $2 million.

Change to play-off events in 2019

There has also been a slight change to the FedEx Cup play-offs in 2019 and there will be one less event than in previous years.

This year the play-off events will be The Northern Trust (Top 125), BMW Championship (Top 70) and Tour Championship (Top 30).

The prize money at all the play-off events has been set at $9.25 million with the winner receiving $1.665 million and 2,000 FedEx Cup points.
